Great Site! Hooked up with an old airmen from boot camp on 3-8-2013...36 years after we went to boot camp and tech school. Turns out that we have lived less than 10 miles from each other for the last 30 years.

3743 BMTS FLT W- 085
I have only kept up with one from my Basic Training flight but curious if there is anyone else out there that went through with us. My last name was Hart back then and in 1974 changed to Pitre for a number of years. 1998 changed to my current last name. I was an MTI as a Pitre from 1975-1977 and 1978-1982. Our BMT training went from Oct 22, 1970 - Dec 4, 1970 and our TI's were SSgt Linda Carpenter and Sgt Leonard. Sgt Leonard looked like adam ant with those large glasses she used to wear. She had a rough time marching us as I recall going to retreat one time and whatever command she gave us 2 squads went one way and the other 2 squads went a different way. Was not a good day for any of us. Lots of great memories from back then and even as an MTI.
