Member of 3704 BMTS Honor Flight 429, 03 Oct. 1979 to 16 Nov. 1979. Still have the vivd memory of finally getting into the rack at 2330 hrs. on the first night hearing the buses racing around Lackland AFB delivering new arrivals and the T.I.s still hollering, thinking what the hell did I get into here? We had good T.I.s, Tsgt. Joseph Baker and Sgt. Scott Jenkins. Tsgt. Baker was always the hard guy, but Sgt. Jenkins, after a few weeks, would smirk or even chuckle at our half hearted attempts at whatever we did! My next door dorm mate slit his wrists week 2 with MY razor-he was gone on a stretcher never to be seen again. We had alot of crappy times and alot of GREAT times and ended winning Honor Flight in the last week. We were SO proud to march around Lackland AFB that last week in our blues with the Honor Flight banner. I would love to meet up with my T.I.s and buy them a beer!

Photos from Nov. 1973Drum and Bugle Corps...TI was TSGT NATION
I entered basic on Oct. 12, 1973 and was in a flight that comprised the drum and bugle corps. My TI was TSGT Nation. If anyone out there has any photos or info on the guys in my flight it would be great to hear from you. I was the guide at the time we took our photo but was promoted to I think we called it squad leader shortly thereafter and I was shipped out to Malmstrom A.F.B. where I was a jet mac on the EB-57 with the 17th DSES.

Looking for photos of FlightDrum and Bugle Core
I was in the Drum and Bugle Core and entered basic Oct. 12, 1973. Me and my fellow airmen were a bit upset at the notion we'd have to rough it out in the old barracks instead of living it up in the new 1000 man dorms. I can't remember the flight number or my TI's name. If anyone can help me out with a photo of our flight I would greatly appreciate it.

To whom is may concern, I entered Basic Military Training on June 9, 1993 through July of 1993. My T.I. was SRA. Carcamo. I remember that my quarters was called Mother Russia. I am trying to get in touch with a couple friend from basic training but I can't seem to remember thier first name.
